Cattle Yard Cover Installation

The Parham Construction team recently completed a steel cattle yard cover suitable for all conditions.

In late February we began construction of a new structure which we built over existing livestock yards on the property.

The end product was a reliable steel shelter to keep the yards working efficiently in all conditions.

The project was manufactured and erected by the Parham Construction team, including the supply and installation of an ECO ExoRoll roller door .

New Industrial Shed Nearing Completion

The Parham Construction team are nearing the completion of a new industrial shed, the culmination of multiple months of hard work.

We announced on our Facebook page back in October last year that this industrial shed project was under way, with the pad prepared, structural steel delivered and footing poured. Three weeks later we successfully completed the roof lift with the help of the team from Sharp Cranes.

By late November the internal fit out commenced. This included wall insulation and cladding, roller door openings being cut out and the mezzanine frame and flooring put in place.

As we neared the 2025 Christmas break, the exterior of the industrial shed was completed. That left the internal works to commence in January, which have progressed strongly.

The underfloor plumbing, including septic installation, has been completed. The main concrete floor is down and the framing is complete, while the earthwool batts and Dover White colorbond ceiling under the mezzanine is also finished.

Through the team’s hard work, and the dedication from our contractors, the completion status of this job is on track and we look forward to seeing the final product.

Industrial Warehouse Extension

Parham Construction were thrilled to complete this industrial warehouse extension for Elders in Mount Gambier.

After being briefed by Elders, Parham Construction designed, manufactured and erected the new steel framework, resulting in the professional finish you can see below.

Our work began with a UB hot dipped galvanised steel frame, while Colorbond Dover White was used for the trimclad roof and wall cladding.

We installed Taurean B-Series roller doors with industrial motors while also adding 820mm wide pa doors with lever handles.

Our team successfully removed existing warehouse sliding doors, wall cladding and framework, allowing access to the new drive thru extension.

As a locally owned, Mount Gambier business, the Parham Construction team were thrilled to support local business with this quality build.

Music pavilions to last a lifetime

A big part of the Mount Gambier calendar is the Generations in Jazz music festival and Parham Construction were tasked with helping it go bigger in 2025, building four identical shed structures for the annual festival.

Our team worked with the client from commencement until completion, the end product four tailor designed sheds that will last a lifetime for the festival.

The columns and trusses used were constructed from UB hot dipped galvanized steel, while the shed cladding was BlueScope COLORBOND Monument and Surfmist.

We installed roof insulation in the main shed area to regulate the temperature, prevent moisture and act as a sound barrier.

Skylights were also installed in the walls to provide additional natural light to ensure an enjoyable three days for all festival goers.

Despite trying weather conditions during construction, the Parham team pulled through to provide four quality sheds.

We can’t wait to watch future Australian jazz stars revisit our sheds for years to come and showcase their talents.

Shed Revamp - Glencoe

The Parham Construction team pride themselves on building quality sheds, however they can also revamp existing structures to suit clients’ needs.

A recent job presented us with an open fronted stone shed offering no weather protection. The team used Colorbond Woodland Grey corrugated iron to clad the facade, replacing the temporary tarpaulins that previously existed on the shed. We framed out and installed two Taurean roller doors, while also adding a Larnec PA door.

The project was finished with site measured flashings to suit, bringing together a satisfying finish for our client.

Our team recently completed a similar job which brought together another strong finish.

Shed Repurpose - Mount Gambier and Millicent

Needing to repurpose your existing shed? This Client had an open fronted shed which he wanted to fully enclose to make it more usable and secure.

We started the project with an existing open front shed with dirt floor. We added a new concrete floor, framed out front wall to cater for 4 x new Gliderol roller doors. Next was the frame out of the front and added roller doors above the existing roof to give maximum clearance.

Roller doors were installed above the existing roof to give maximum clearance including Merlin motors with phone app option to allow easy operation on or off site. New PA door installed in the gable end of provide added access when the roller doors are down.

Open fronted shed now fully enclosed to make it more usable and secure!

Our repeat client in OB Flat is very pleased with the completed 30.8m long x 18.6m wide x 5.85m high machinery shed including full concrete floor that we recently built.It is a pleasure to see our clients return to us when they have new project needs.

We have just built this 6m (L) x 3.865m (W) x 2.4m (H) domestic shed in Mount Gambier.

Shed features:

C150 frame
C75 purlins and girts

Internal Stormwater on Industrial Shed

This local industrial shed is built to be used for the manufacturing of pre-cast concrete products.

This shed is 48m long x 20m wide x 9m high.

Normally stormwater is run externally however due to the constant traffic outside the shed, such as concrete trucks. The internal system was designed and installed to avoid possible damage to external pipework. The decision was made to run the stormwater internally via 150mm pipe to an outside tank.

We worked with our repeat client to design an affordable carport to attach to their existing offices.

The end result is an 18m x 7m x 4.6m carport with RHS Duragalv columns including 1 column removal, c section trusses, zinc corrugated roof including skylites to allow the natural light in for the people working in the office.

The end wall added to provide a wind break. Finished before schedule once again, top job boys!
